The award was presented during the 11th World Green Economy Summit 2025, hosted in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy.
The submitted file highlighted the Authority’s key achievements in developing and implementing a comprehensive plan to qualify the workforce for the solar energy market from 2018 to 2025, aiming to enhance technical skills and strengthen human capacities in the renewable energy sector.
The program successfully trained over 1,600 participants through specialized training courses in:
Design, installation, and maintenance of on-grid and off-grid photovoltaic systems for small-scale projects.
Feasibility studies for solar energy projects.
Design, installation, and maintenance of national solar energy projects.
This achievement reflects the Authority’s continued commitment to promoting renewable energy awareness and supporting national capacity building, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while enhancing Egypt’s position as a regional and international leader in the field.
