New and Renewable Energy Authority
(NREA) welcomed a delegation from the Faculty of Engineering at El Sewedy
University, where 30 students visited the laboratories, including the Household
Appliances Laboratory, Solar Water Heaters Laboratory, and Solar Cells
Laboratory. The visit was part of an educational program designed to
enhance students’ practical understanding of renewable energy technologies.
During the visit, NREA engineers
provided a detailed explanation of the testing procedures conducted in these
laboratories, including performance and efficiency evaluation of household
appliances, quality and durability assessment of solar water heaters.
The students also toured the
laboratories to observe the equipment and advanced measurement systems, helping
them connect academic knowledge with practical applications in the clean energy
sector.
This visit comes as part of NREA’s
ongoing efforts to strengthen academic collaboration and promote scientific
awareness of renewable energy among university students.
