During a meeting with Japanese Ambassador in Cairo Masaki Noke, Shaker hailed the performance of Japanese companies which have a great role in the Egyptian electricity projects.

By the end of this year, the electricity sector will add more than 25,000 megawatts to the national energy grid of Egypt.

Noke, for his part, lauded achievements made by the Egyptian electricity sector in a short time, expressing his country's interest in promoting cooperation between Egypt and the Japanese firms in the renewable energy domain
